Doors have some matching red paint on them already too. The speaker grills are due for the same treatment...

And the full size (yes 35") spare tire cover is also red

I think if you make the carpet red it'll be way too much red. I still think charcoal or black carpet will go well with what you're got going on already.

Gray Black or charcoal and get some floor matts with some red around edges and stuff

Totally different car/style but maybe get an idea from it.

Personally I would go with another shade of grey, possibly a little darker? I like the idea above - adding red accents like something with red piping.
