This is my first "nice" car with any degree of creature comforts. I'd like to keep it going with the radio and maintain as much factory integration as I can.
2005 Tahoe LT w/ bose + nav
It has steering wheel controls, XM radio, and gps. I'd like to add a reverse camera as well as hands free calling. As I understand the door chime goes through the radio too and I'm a bit confused on what to do this that.
I'd also like an android based head unit (variety of reasons)
Really I'm confused on: how do I link with the factory amp? What about Integration of things like steering wheel controls? Or what about this door chime thing?
My previous vehicles never had any of this. It pretty much consistent of running power and speakers to the appropriate wires on the radio and it was done. This is new territory for me and I honestly have no idea what to do. I know where I want to be but not how to get there
