help me slam harder

ok guys im running 4 cvr kickers in a sealed box i feel they could slam harder than they do i have them on a crunch 1500.1 that i cant stand they r wired at 2 ohms what would a better amp to power those????

I've had lots of luck with Sundown Audio. Ive had three different amps and all of them are super efficient and reliable. For your cvr's I would get an SAZ-1500 its rated at 1500 RMS at 12 volts so with your 14 volts it should put you in the perfect RMS range. Just my 2 cents but there are plenty of reliable amps out there.

Agreed, port would make a difference but and the same time would make the bass loose. Which do you want?

Lol I was gonna suggest that too but didnt want to be to pushy and try to tell you how to build your own system, but they are totally correct. If you wanna "slam" hard port that ***** and tune it low. It also kinda depends on what music you listen to most of the time.

im in need of a new box anyway so ported is the way to go huhi listen to rap mostly but i like rock to any one got any ideas for a nice 4 12 box thanks

also, with the box, the bigger you build it the more bass you will get. If you get a square box and port it right in the middle of the 4 speakers to within a few inches of the bottom of the box that will also make them beat harder. I had 2 cvr 15s in mine and could barely sit in there with them turned up.

james, email [email protected], tell them what amp and speakers you have, and give them dims on how much toom you have. They will help design you an enclosure.
Tell them you want it tuned to 33-35hz.
