both are paid off free and clear, why not keep the 2dr for yourself, use the 04 as your new dd, and get the wife something new, if you wanna trade in the 2 dr you wont get nearly enough for it

Trade in whatever one would be more practical for you to part with. Logically, it makes more sense to trade in the vehicle with higher miles and older.

Also, depends on what kinda shape both vehicles are in. If one has been coasting you more and more to keep, it would not make sense to hold on to that one imo

I personally love 2 door Tahoe's/Yukon's. I just don't think they are "daily driver" vehicles any more. If I were to buy another one, it would be a weekend driver. Just throwing it out there.

This is exactly my thinking PurpleHoe. I love the 2 doors, always have, but I already have my grandads old 1978 Scout as my weekend vehicle. No real sense to have 2 weekenders. I worry that I will have to put a lot of money into the 2 door to keep it as a daily driver, especially after the odometer is over 200k in a couple of years. I haven't had to do anything to the 04 Hoe except routine maintenance. I know I would rather drive the 2 door, but I'm trying to look at it from a practical standpoint

Btw, if i decide to get rid of the 2 door, i'll sell it to someone who will appreciate it rather than trade it in.
