The state of the auto industry and their offerings makes me thankful I have a nine year old vehicle that runs well and for my purposes designed better than anything I see or don't see at the dealerships.

My feelings exactly about my 2013 Honda Pilot :) I wish Honda would build a Tahoe sized SUV. Their quality is awesome. I was going too replace it with a Suburban in 2022 but I will hold out for a Wagoneer or 2023 Toyota Sequoia. I am done with GM for some time until their quality improves. Hopefully my 2021 Tahoe will hold together until I can replace that also next year or early 2023.

Son's ex bought a new 2014 Pilot, fully loaded. Now at 250k miles with absolute minimum maintenance and total repair list was a rear wheel bearing assy after making noise for six months. Amazing machine!

Haven’t seen the official letter yet but I am in the build date block (8-21).

I will be watching….question is……since this is a fuel system and can affect acceleration especially for traffic mergin. Does this get prio or is one of those submit the recall and wait six months or more for actual new part arrival and dealer scheduling to correct.

We all know it won’t happen but there needs to be a time limit on recalls. If manufacturers issue a recall NHTSA needs to tell manufacturers that….Manufacturer. *** you have *** days to get new parts and comply with recall.

I had same type of recall for my 2013 Taurus and believe e it or not was traded and appraised while on the rack.

Does this recall require total module replacement or just reprogramming the existing module?

Problem with any recall is if you get a loaner/rental it is the cheapest one available… It can also wind up in dealer multiple days with loss of use but your payment is still due.

Total module replacement. My first one failed a year ago and took my rig out of service over 30 days. I ended up getting a new module, pump and tank.
