No HIR for the fogs. HIR's only come in 2 flavors, basically one that can be modded for 9006, one can be modded for 9005. (By modded, you trim the tabs a little bit.) Found these projectors for your truck, same brand as what I'm running in my 'hoe.

Depo's usually don't have halo's or LED's. Might just be what the doctor ordered....

And Coopie? Did you say you have or need projectors? If you need them....

Those are some nice systems they have. Could you run a 35w low and a 55w high or would that be too much? What is an HIR???

Thanks Mike. Think Im gonna order the Depo lights. Wasnt really wanting Projectors tho. But if that's going to allow the HIDs to work the best, then that's what it'll be. Does it not make a difference in the Fog lights because they are so low? I'm thinking of going with (2) 35w ddm kits. OR 55w in the lowbeams and 35w in the fogs. I take it as 4500K is about the whitest HID I can get?

Reflector or projector housing is all preference.
I have had 6000k HIDs in my Tahoe for 6 moths on regular housings and have had no problems. I don't really like the aftermarket projector lamps, too ricey! And I am def. not spending $600 or more to retrofit them so they will stay as is.
Second, my light out put is WAY higher than stock, and I have had two people flash me in the long time they have been there.

Will Hids melt Tahoe Stock head lights?????????? HElp

There is a common misperception that HID's are hot....they are not. They run cooler then standard Halogen bulbs. Heat is rarely, if ever, an issue. They should run in a stock housing just fine. Unless you are using a really cheap plastic aftermarket part, I wouldn't worry about heat at all.

HID's use an enclosed bulb with charged gases that emit light. A standard halogen bulb uses a an enclosed bulb with a filament that gets so hot it glows brightly, which produces light. Halogen bulbs can run into the thousands of degrees, literally. Not saying an HID bulb wouldn't be hot to the touch, but relative to a normal bulb, it will be much cooler.
