I've used ebay ones and they have worked fine for me. I have 35w lows and 55w highs both 6000k.

I wish I would have went with 4500k.

I would buy new housings and do the 4 high mod first. The factory housings suck. It's definitely worth it, vast improvement over factory.

Get new housings with clear lenses and hit up theretrofitsource.com
I've had three different HID kits you get what you pay for.
I've never had a kit bust on me just trying different kits and theretrofitsource has way better output.

running low and high beams at the same time when high beams are selected. in that mode the lows are shutdown as designed by the vehicle manufacturer.

I got mine from DDM, run 6k HID' s in the lows and silverstars in the highs, the Denali lights I run the lows have a glare cap on them which is a nice feature, had them for over 2 years and no issues and picked up an HD headlight harness with 4hi from Mean Green (highly recommend all plug and play no splicing)
