High Beam Bulbs

Does anyone have some recommendations for a 07 Tahoe Hi Beam Bulb. I'm looking for something whiter/brighter than factory. I was going to go with a 55W HID kit, but someone commented on another post that you loose the quick flashing ability with HID Hi's. I'm just starting into my search/research and wanted to see if anyone else had recommendations.

You don't really lose the flash-to-pass feature, but depending on what kit you get, the "warmup" time of the high beams could be too slow to really do any flashing. It still works though, and if you get the right kit (100% digital), the light will warm up quick enough to flash and pass.

Or, you could go for Silverstars.

Someone had HIR bulbs and indicated the output was between halogens and HID.

Just do the 4-high mod so that the low beams stay on when the high beams are activated. My 55W HIDS take too long to warm up when I switch on the highs.

The lows and highs on together mode is stock. That modification is for NBS.

Yeah, an actual mod to the stock lights would be to do the 6-high.
