Holy "F" rear tire sheered off on highway

Glad to hear everyone is ok, that is some scary **** when that happens.

It happend to my dad on his 99 3500. He was driving back from elk hunting with a camper and towing a trailer with quads. Luckily he felt the vibaration and slowed down, the wheel came off and shredded the rear quarter pannel. Come to find out the lug nuts were not torqued enuff and all 4 wheels were loose. He called the tire shop that just put the new tires on, and they fixed everything not questions asked, and i even think they fired the guy who did it

well unfortunatly i had these tires put on 3,500 miles ago and was due to take it in and have them rotated this week or next.. but after talking to some of my guys.. we all have come to 2 conclusions.. someone was stopped early in an attempt to steel my wheels. or 2 someone was trying to be funny and prank and loosened the lug nuts.. thats all we can figure as i checked all the other tires and they were torqued down proper.. i just hope the insurance quotes enough to cover the damages..

So now my INS company is saying that my Full coverage policy does not cover wheels and tires if they fall off of the vehicle. and that they are only going to cover the body damage and not the suspension or brakes.. wtf... so why am i paying for full coverage.. oh i guess you have to total your car to actually get a dime.. and i have one of the major companies.. F!!!!! this is ridiculous and it took them 2 freaking weeks to tell me they are only gonna do a tiny bit of body work.. OH thats a bunch of bull.. looks like the rest of my day after vacation is going to be filled with yelling at people on the phone until someone gives me the correct answer.. i have 7 policies with this company and they will not cover a $2,155 damage.. thats obserd, i pay then more than this a year for all of my policies.. not like they are not making money off of me.. i guess i will have to threaten to take all of my policies else where..

oh i am.. they quoted some ridiculous clause in my policy saying that because it fell off that its not there fault.. well no joke its not like they did it.. im threatening to pull all 7 of my policies from them.. home, 3 car, boat, life.. everything.. this is ridiculous... and all over a $2,155 claim.. i pay more than that a year to them for all my policies.. and you know if i had totaled it they would just stroke a check. this also took them 2 weeks to tell me.. WTF.. the time lossed makes me even more fired up...

it has been 2 week and they just told me this morning that they were not covering 95% of the damage.. and I only found this out bc i called and asked what the deal with my truck was..

so now they have added the suspension and brakes and axel damage to the coverage thats a plus.. but i still cant get them to add the $525 my cost as a tire wheel distributor to the tab.. WTF.. this is $700 retail worth of wheel tire combination not including freight.. i mean to tell you what i am not happy with them.. so they are covering about $1,800 is labor and parts... and the minimal body work that is needed..

have others had this much troubles dealing with claims.. good gosh this has been a 2 week nightmare
