Today about midway into my morning commute,I happen to glance over at my Average fuel economy.I know that it is not a completely ideal reference point but still it wasn't normal.I usually get close to 20MPG but today I was getting up to 10 after a reset.Engine seems to be running good but after this I'm not so sure.

Do you actually track your fuel use with pen and paper or vis an app? The on-board computer only uses the last so many miles to compute the figure, but IIRC it starts from 0 when you reset it. I used to know how many miles are used for the avg.

So if you reset it, then got caught by a few stop lights and then hit the onramp for the freeway. Ten mpg or lower makes sense. If your engine was still cold when you reset it and you live in a colder area, it would still make sense to see the avg being that low.

If you track your fuel use by other means, and that number is also down, or if the average on your dash doesn't come up to a more "normal", then I would start to investigate.

Have you hit a pothole recently and knocked the front end out of alignment, tire pressure, etc.? When I first bought mine, it was bad as well. I ran a tankful of Royal Purple Max Clean fuel system cleaner and saw a decent improvement, it's the only stuff I've ever used that works. It also works great in my 2-stroke motors. Just don't add too much. Good Luck
