Installed 2” blocks and cranked the torsion bars a little.
Painted wheels black. Painted the flares and rockers with Berliner.
Also started building a rear tire carrier.

I'm really interested in the rear tire carrier setup you've got. How about a writeup, some detailed pics and maybe some dimensions?

OK, I will take some detailed pics and give you guys a break down of what I used and did. Just remember, I am new to welding and fabricating. Luckily I have a few friends that are certified welders and they over look my progress!

OK so here is a short list for the rear tire carrier. I will take measurements tomorrow. I have some pics of my unpainted welds, a little talled than I would like but you can definitely see that it is getting good *********** to both pieces of metal.

Main frame is 2"x2" 3/16th wall tubing
Hinge is DOM tubing with 1" grade 8 bolt
Hinge frame is 3/16th plate
Plate the lugs are welded to is 1/4" plate
I used some of the 2" tubing to reinforce the bumper, its bolted to the bottom of the bumper, and that tubing runs to the hitch and welded to the hitch. I also have another tube that is bolted to the body. Probably over kill, but it is VERY sturdy!
