I been chasing a oil leak I have more or less pin pointed it to the rear main seal of the main seal plate.
I have pulled transmission before out other vehicles just asking are the bell housing bolts a pain to get in and out.
And is there enough room to just slide the trans far enough back to remove the Flex plate and fix the seal issue.
It is also a 4X4.
I also think about letting a shop do it also.
I know what involved doing this job. I don't want to spend the money then again if they screw up they have to fix it.

If labor is around $500.00 I let them do it but if some where around $1500.00 range might as well have drop a rebuilt motor instead that just about it cost for labor to pull and put in a new motor.
I get a bone yard motor and rebuild one.
