I heard about all the vibration issues on the new trucks but my 2014 and 2015 didn't have any issues.

Probably just whiny owners making stuff up. Some of the guys on the pickup forums are the biggest nitpickers I've ever met.

What's the 'buffeting' issue?

"Probably just whiny owners making stuff up"

There are hundreds of posts regarding this problem and a number of owners have had there trucks brought back by GM. My 2015 had the problem but after 14000 miles it seems to have gone away. I don't know why and neither does any dealer know why. There is a service bulletin regarding the problem but it involves removing the roof liner. So for a truck that cost $75000 who wants some kid at the dealer take their truck apart.

Mine has done it since the test drive. Oddly my Expedition EL also exhibited something similar although it didn't have AFM. It did have 20" wheels though.
I do think the larger wheels, 22" on the Denali, are responsible for some of this.
Although most is the AFM kicking on and off. I can tell when this happens through the center display and it is quite obvious once it goes into 4 cylinder mode. A lot of the time I simply go into manual mode and set it to 7.
I started a thread about having the AFM deactivated which is the same thing I did to my G8 because it also had similar issues during the AFM stage.
If all else fails I will purchase the plug in module that allows me to deactivate and reactivate AFM by plugging and unplugging.

It is a shame that this does happen. I have never had a passenger comment on the vibration, but I can tell it is there. Everything else about the Denali is amazing and I have been very pleased with this purchase/lease. I'll put it this way...I would rather bandage the vibration than have purchased/leased another Expedition, or Navigator.

haven't experienced it yet on my 2016 Tahoe LTZ, but many other problems tho. It seems like a very quiet Tahoe , better than my older 207, and 2009. Then again I don't have very many miles on her yet. BTW I have 20" rims, not 22" so that might be helping.

Does the LTZ have additional sound deadening? Or maybe it has the noise cancelation and the others don't?

What other kind of issues does it have?

Just did ;) I printed out the complaint number for my records.I also called my car dealer to doublecheck if the service department was open tomorrow and when I explained to him the issues im having his reply was " Wow that's strange I have never heard of that before". I'm not looking forward to dealing with the service department on this issue tomorrow :(

They always say that

The GM and salesperson said that when I was test driving them only to find out later - after they forgot we talked - that they had one customer get a buyback for this issue
