How much $$ did you pay for your Magnaflow/ install

I like it loud but not obnoxious. At first I had the Magnaflow with the resonator, and it was too quiet. Just recently, I removed the resonator (hated the look) and installed a 3-inch turn down instead of a fancy tip.

It is pretty close to what I want, and I can see how some would not like the drone at ~2500 to 3000 rpm. If I change, it will be to a Corsa dB Black Series muffler.

Dang i see some of these prices and it boggles my mind. Right now the cheapest i can find in orange county thats reputable is around 200.

Exactly what I bought for my 08, removed the resonator and put a 3" chrome tip on for $180 from a local shop.

DW if you go to Magnaflow's website they have a sound clip of it on a Avalanche. I have been looking around for the muffler as well recently and prob going to install it this weekend. But I already have the SLP axle back so just the muffler. But the muffler shops around my area are pricing it around 200 installed. The shops that you guys got them installed was it just a local shop or shops like Meineke or Midas?

^ local shop not a chain. The 'Midas' type shops are more expensive in my area plus I like to support local businesses.
