Unfortunately no they charged me 150 bucks said they programmed the module but. I don't think so. Because not even the door handles light up with the runners on, which I think they would if they would of been programmed. Idk it may of been the kit to.Was your local dealership visit not able to program the BCM to work properly?
I was also told by my mechanic that the module itself isn't getting power I have no idea at this point. I did pick the wire out of the plug and put it in the heated steering wheel location going to test for 12vUnfortunately no they charged me 150 bucks said they programmed the module but. that doesn't make any sense if the module was not getting power there is no way it was programmed and they would have told you so and/or they would have said yes we programmed the module but your seats are not working it has a *** fault, etc..Unfortunately no they charged me 150 bucks said they programmed the module but. backlights are separate and are just little bulbs they burn out especially after a number of years, all of my overhead console bulbs were burnt out when I bought mine in 2017 when it was only 5 years old, then the headlight knob bulb burnt out also shortly after I bought it.
you should be able to go into the tech2 and troubleshoot, you can have it scan the whole system and see what it findsThanks Wes I know I shouldn't of trusted my local dealer. I would take all the tech2 connections apart and blow them out with air and re assemble and try againWell I scanned the system, and besides it telling me that I have wrong vehicle and communication was lost about 20 times. It didn't say any errors, also I couldn't find the heated seat module on there. Guess that's my problem... Also for some odd reason I couldn't get the thing to communicate with the passenger side switches.
I'm choosing from light duty trucks the 1 catagory which I believe is for the first number in your vin then Yukon XL it sometimes gives me an error sometimes not. I believe that's the right vehicle. I'll try cleaning it tonightI would take all the tech2 connections apart and blow them out with air and re assemble and try again
