How to fix a loose (broken around screws) wiper cowl for pennies.

I went looking looking today for the screws that hold down the wiper cowl today, and I found that they were both broken:
(They are under the hood hinge covers. The covers just pull off.)

Passenger side:

Driver side:


The fix is easy and cheap.

I used a large washer on the passenger side:

And a small washer on the driver side:


Way cheaper (and a lot less work) than buying a replacement.

Also, if you need to replace any of the four retainer clips the hold the cowl on across the front of it, they are GM part #15999788

Mine are still holding. No problem.
