Hi, brand new here and picked up a 2016 LTZ Suburban last week. In my prior car (Honda) with auto headlights there was a separate fog light switch. I could leave the fog lights switch in the "on" position always and the headlights switch in "auto". Then, whenever it was dark and the low beams came on, the fog lights came on as well.

Is there anyway to do this on the Suburban? No real functional reason, I just like the look of the fog lights on and don't want to remember to push the button each time.

Thanks!

No, unfortunately there isn't a way. The fog light switch is completely digital and will reset to "off" when the vehicle is turned off.

This may not be something you want to do anyway - where I live, you're not allowed to have fogs on unless the weather conditions warrant it.

On my 2008, I jumped the grounds on the relays under the hood to get this to work.

You mind detailing this- what relays and what were the exact results?

I'd like for my aux lights to be on any time the headlights are on.

^^ Thats what I did on my 04, only I used the trigger pin for the low beam relay and ran a diode from there to my fog relay. In the winter I also run a diode from my high beam relay to my low beam relay, so that when the weather is bad at night I can put on my highs and all 3 stay on.
