howling noise coming from driveshaft?

I guess I am a thread jacker too... mine only does it when I have my foot on the pedal... just coasting and no noise at all...

well after getting under the truck today to do some repairs... i see what may potentially be causing the noise... im sure the wheel bearings are going because of the age and milage...

what i do!!! I jack the rear end up until tires not
touching the ground put jack stands under axle then let
the jack down to rest the axle on the stands oh!!( don't
for get to block front tires) start truck put in drive have

someone to push the gas pedal NOT ALOT get a wood
broom stick and stick on different spots on the axle and
the other end of the stick to your ear and you will find to
problem. this is old school way^^^^^
