I drive my truck 100mph with a 6" drop up front, you won't have any issues

So are spindles up front better than springs? Is there much of a difference between the two?

Yes, spindles would be better than springs up front. Spindles allow you to drop it without changing anything on suspension side of things allowing it ride like stock.

you can do 2/3 in belltech or djm. Only reason i like djm is because the rear kit comes with everything not just shocks but they are like 700 bucks. but ive also had no complaints on their 2/3 kit with springs.

Ive also had no probs with the belltech kit. Some peopel like spindles so ive sold kits with belltech front spindles and rear djm kit works out great.

thge more and more i drive my drop, the more upset i am about the ride... I will go on to say its not that bad but with arizona roads constantly being under construction, its pretty annoying...

I will also say that i could make my truck ride considerably better if i were to invest in a few more needed components like some drop shocks, extension hardware, and maybe some spindles.

Just lowered my 2007 kon tonite.

It rides really nice for being in the floor!:)

i only wish it was about 1 1/2 in lower in the back.

I was able to obtain an additional 1/2 of lowering by removing the upper and lower spring isolators... the four round pieces between the bumpstops (no longer in use) in this pic...
