HVAC issue (fan?)

04 Escalade: while driving you hear what sounds to be the fan? When you stop it stops but as soon as you speed up it starts again, AC & heat work fine, the fan sounds like it's dying the higher the speed the worse it sounds but it's doing this with nothing on, any ideas?
