Do you know the year of the Tahoe? How about a photo of the plate on the transfer case?

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Pics of the truck, please.

You are already receiving sage advice from the knowledgeable folks on this Forum.

One thing that you do not have to worry about with this Forum is being ridiculed. Does not happen here, unless in jest. A**holes get booted out of here pretty quick.

I can try to get the year model of the Tahoe but no having much luck
Get us a pic of the transfer case circle plate and it will verify transfer case model and it will also tell us the year model of the donor vehicle too. Pics of the plate of the donor vehicle and the plate on the Tcase thas was in your vehicle originally. Also your RPO code that starts with a NP will tell us what is supposed to be in your vehicle from the factory.

NP262, New Process Gear.

If the Tahoe still has its glovebox, get the "N" RPO codes off the sticker.

Not sure that model exists:
