So Thursday mourningb/w 1am and 8:00am my Escahoe was broken into :(.
Got away with $600 Cash (I know, I know). I had $400 to pay for my two tires installed and the other $200 for my Powder Coated and re-done rims.
They ripped my Pioneer Avic D-3 out of my dash and cut the wires. Very easy to steal my amps and farad cap. All the did was disconnect the wires and walked out witht he rack. They just pulled my seats down and took my subs as well as my tool box. 1,000 in tools as well.

This was done in front of my house. If I didnt have a clean set of tighty whiteyes I would have slept over the g/f's house. i can't get full coverage due to the fact of the modified caddy clip so I am assed out. Home owners won't cover anything due to the fact it was parked on the street.

Cops won't do shit, just took down an itemized list. It is well over 4 grand worth of stuff but it doesn't warrant finger printing.

I flipped out on the useless Pigs as well as my nieghbors. My truck had it's doors open with shit all over the ground. Just kept about thier business standing nearly 5 feet away as they wait for the kids to get on the bus. Not one of home had the common courtesy or mentality to be like "That doesn't look normal".

Now the S/C is being further put on hold.

I will post pics later...

On to the rebuild... I know what DD Unit I am going to replace it with.

I just don't know what Subs...

Found 2-12" L7
2-15" L7 in a shallow ported box
2-15" Kicker Comp CVR's

I'm looking to keep it simple as in ONE battery and two amps (4ch and a mono block) in an amp rack under the rear seats with a farad cap.

Feasible with 2-15's?

Me too until Oblowma came in and starting offering aid to the less fortunate. All the shit of the city moves to the area. Neighborhood went from West Side aka the White Side to the dark side.

Crime has been at an all time community high. Heck we just had our first shooting 2 weeks ago :(

This is the 3rd incident our home in particular that has been attacked in the past 6 months.

1) Some one went around keying cars...got most of the cars on the block 3 of ours.

2) My brother (stupid) him left his car doors unlocked after two jobbing a 24 hr shift. Snatched $500 in cash) Went into the driveway deep to get to his car. Also my father's Ipod of his Avalanche which is way deep, can't see it from the streets. He foolishly left it unlocked.

After #2 happened my father went nuts and installed a driveway sensor. He also installed camera's but had to remove them b/c of privacy issues (my neighbors are assholes)

Well one night the sensor was going off and my father was awake. Saw a non-white individual check all the door handles of the vehicles even into almost the back yard and went across the street and did the same. My father called the Cops and then was on the pursuit.

Of course SCPD's finest was 30 mins late. My father chased them into a dead end with bat in hand screaming. They drove right by him (lucky I would have ran him over). My father got thier licence plate and submitted it to the police.

Thier cover story was that they were delievering the newspaper and my father scared them. Never in our life have we ever gotten the paper at the front door. always at the apron of the driveway. Cops and Newsday did nothing...so now we don't get the paper. Even though there are numerous complaints of similar acts but nothing can be done till they get caught. PERFECT COVER UP STORY!

That kinda stuff just makes ya wanna move as soon as possible. My neighborhood is pretty quiet and filled with older people so it's nice to have that. With that said, we're close to some busy roads so anything could really happen at any time. I park my grand prix outside (and let the truck and Burb be inside). If anything happened to it I'd be upset but nothing of value (to me) would really be taken or damaged. If I was dailying something nicer I'd probably be a little more worried :)

Its unfortunate of the situations that happened. Why did you have to put "Saw a non-white indiviual" is that really of any importance? Where were the cameras pointed? I bet if your neighbors homes or cars were broken into by a "non-whatever individual" they would want more security for their things too.

Sorry to hear, that sucks big time! I am guessing you didn't have an alarm. I was rampaged like that when I was 19. I had an Oldsmobile FULL of sound equipment and they took everything and destroyed the seats and interior in the process. They even put a huge dent in the door because they obviously missed the window the first time they threw the brick. Easily 4 grand worth of damage. I have had an alarm on every vehicle I have owned ever since. Even a hoopty that I had. People always says alarms dont do anything but make noise. While that is true, they also draw attention which is what a thief does NOT want, especially in a residential area. Right now, I live in a pretty bad neighborhood. If its not bolted down, the crackheads will steal it. They even stole my neighbors water hose several times. They stole a BBQ grill out my backyard and even stole my kids small pool. Now who the **** steals a kiddie pool??? But not once has anyone EVER ****** with my vehicles. Since the BBQ and Pool incidents I now have a huge dog in my yard. Now I can leave whatever I want in the yard and nobody messes with it. If I hear the dog start violently barking, then someone is coming too close to the house. The only time he barks like that is when the mailman or UPS guy comes, or anyone else other than a family member comes over. I like it like that. The last thing a thief wants is a dog barking or an alarm wailing drawing attention to him. He will run the hell outta there. I suggest getting an alarm, and if possible a 50+lb. dog from the local pound. Mine is a mutt, but he is good with the kids and does a good job of guarding the house.

Just stating a FACT.

If I come off racist, I deeply apologize.

Just throwing it out there, irreguardless there are two types to every race!
I personally dislike the lesser of the two. :)

There is a just a long series of events that occurred with our neighbor that puts us on a necessary contact only deal.

I can name countless times they are selfish and oblivious. Here is perfect example, last year our family (My brother and I) over hauled our back yard. We removed shrubs all over the effin place. What we discovered is where we eat is about 6-8ft away from where they burried their dead dog! Meanwhile the next house over is Section 8 House, bury that shit there. Funny growing up my father always complained that something smelt funky (shallow grave). He was right this whole time.

But either way it fell under privacy issues. Camera's facing the street and a walkway that camera cover's overlooks both our side-walk ways. These idiots called the town and they came down to look at our system and deemed it illegal.

Steal the BBQ for the scrap metal! Crackheads will do some crazy shit!

My truck is ALWAYS in the driveway but...

Our spare vehicle is down due to a bad BCM and a window regualor. Usually that is on the street b/c its the spare vehicle. My Father's "prized" stock Chevy Avalanche that he Barely drives.

Then my truck.

Due to a work related accident with my mother, her back is giving her trouble. So its just courtesy to let her walk the closer distance till she feels better. She didn't ask to park closer. Just a given...if we got home at the same time, I'd carry her in.

It just sucks plain and simple...stereo was the last project we did at my old shop before the building was sold out from us. There is some personal value to it, most likely why I never finished the fine details.

Dear John (te he tehe)

I appreciate it very much, but I think your system is far from what my old taste requires. I just want to keep it simple and light. 2 subs in a box, 2 amps, farad cap and a 1 battery. I think the l7's will do. I need a 4 channel amp for my interior.

Just tight it really puts the Blower and supporting mods I have been staring at for over a year in question for the summer.
