Black and Chrome, I just love it. White paint and Black accents, I call "Storm Trooper". I like that Color scheme on bikes and trucks too!

Resurrecting this thread. I’m close to murdering out the Yuke. Blacked out the front end and I thought I was going to stop there but something isn’t right. I’m going to use plastidip on the badges next, or pull them all together. As far as the general appeal, I’ve seen some that look stunning. And some that look meh. The beautiful ones appealed to me, the others didn’t. lol. As to the ac, my Yuke was already black and black in purchase so, yeah, the ac runs constantly here in Fl but it keeps up and I don’t mind it.There isn't really just a general discussion area, non model specific and I don't want to post in someone's thread and seem to be pointing fingers.
I've read a number of threads where people want to make everything all black, or all dark colors, inside and out. I've even known people who painted the walls black in their homes. I just don't get it. To me, it makes things dark and dingey and shows dust easily That, and you can't see. You need much more light which is more of an issue in homes than vehicles.
I like light, though not necessarily overly bright. My vehicle interiors have always been light colored. My rooms have always been painted in offwhites or pale colors to reflect as much light as possible. I never have a lot of lights on as an energy saving measure, so light colors make that much easier. I've gotten to where I almost never drive after dark, so interior lighting isn't as important for that, but I have converted all interior lights to LED, so what little there is makes it easier to see if parked inside.
In your dark, dark vehicles, don't you have to run the AC harder? Isn't it unbearable getting in after being parked in an open lot on a hot sunny day?
