I have a 1996 Chevy Tahoe with a 5.7 need some performance help

The 5.7 needs the spider injection replaced, it is leaking. I was curious to get some info on the marine intake swap since I was talking to a friend and he said there was some power to be had there and a great improvement for MPG. What is needed to do it, where can I get the parts from, and is there a write up on doing it? While doing that I would also like to swap the engine driven fan for an electic fan (what vehicle should I get the from) and maybe some long tube headers. Thanks

Or should I pull the 5.7 and put in a LQ9 I have with a small cam, headers, electric fans and a good tune?

for now for the sake of quick return of vehicle use replace the spider cheapest is at amazon. the marine intake is a little more involved but if you have an lq9 laying around then do that instead of marine intake.

Personally, I dont think its worth it.
Definately do the efan swap, regardless.

LQ9 is the only way to, period.
