Can someone explain what the tow/haul button does? Seems to hold gears and firm up shifts

Air ride? Does it only level for people in the back seat or for trailer weight also?

Is there a good way to test the air ride system to see if it's functional?

Thanks

It doens't allow the tranny to go in to overdrive as well

The the rear only (in general) whether it's because you have 15 people in the back or a trailer. you can put weight on the back and see if it goes up, but when you first turn the truck on you should here the air pump kick on for 3-5 seconds

I have never heard the air pump kick on in my denali but its always been at the correct height and never sagging. Its strange.

It will still go into overdrive if you are over a certain speed and have a light enough load for a certain period of time.

Tow/haul mode firms up the shifts and raises the shift points. Its a great feature for towing anything but otherwise not necessary.

This, it reduces strain on the engine by keeping it from "lugging" at low rpms. It burns a crap ton more gas around town too!:chair:
