3k? no way, to much money. When I had my Dodge 3500 re-geared it was not even close to 2k. it has been too many years to remember but I was in the $1,000-$1,500 complete. I supplied the Amsoil for them. I guess up here in the Pacific NW are just cheaper than most.

Thx for all the replys.. I called around and every place was quoting me about the same amt. I guess things up here in Chicago just cost more.

Also he calls spider gears also planetary sun gears so I guess you guys are talking about the same thing.

Thx again and when its finished I will post pics

Maybe but they are very different gears and I personally feel uncomfortable leaving work to someone who cares not to be clear and accurate at his job.
