Still have issues with my 98 Yukon, found this wire unplugged in the drivers side wheel well. Anyone know what it is and where it goes? Thank you.

I'm trying to think what else is wrapped in heat shield tape other than the O2 sensor?

It's the connection to the block heater. In place of one of the freeze plugs is a heating element. On the other end of that wire should be a 110v plug. Look around behind the drivers side headlight and grill. It's used to heat up the water in the block for warmer starts in the winter.
