I have a 2007 GMC Yukon, SLT, 4x4, 5.3L.

I work in a capacity that requires me to leave the vehicle running with emergency lights activated for periods of time, and I'm looking for a solution that allows this to safely occur. I've seen the systems in squad cars that enable the driver to push a button, remove the key, and leave the vehicle running (and that kill the engine if someone steps on the brake pedal without the key in the ignition), but I'm having difficulty finding one for a 2007. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

That may work but I'm not sure how long it will stay on before it times out and shuts off. I'm not sure if it lasts for extended periods of time.

True forgot about that, but depending on how long I think the most you can program them for is 45 mins to an hour if I remember correct

Are you using all leds?
If so do you really need the vehicle running the entire time?
If it's a city vehicle then who cares but I wouldn't want my personal vehicle idling for that long.
