Just wondering if anyone has put the msd ignition wires on their truck and which one did you use? Found two on there website. I did a search and it brought up problems people were having.

Use the factory AC Delcos. MSD wires are not worth the money & tend to be problematic. Delco, Delco, Delco...

With the way our ignition systems are setup, the leads are short, factory coils good for 600hp, & as long as you keep things tuned everything will be perfect with oem parts.

Does anyone know the factory part number? I see that there are two different ones for our truck.

Also, what is a good mileage interval for changing plug wires on a 5.3?

IDK. These are still the stock wires and I have a 2000 with 212,*** miles. I just replaced all 8 spark plugs and putting new wires on once they arrive.
