Mybad guys I almost forgot I made this thread.
The Tahoe gets out the shop on Monday. Its back in shape and looks better than it did before due to some more color matching I did. Also all the damage is fixed now.
I will upload pics on Friday or so next week.
Nobody has been tied in the vandalism case. I also have not got a call from the detectives. The only cameras are at the gate of the parking garage so they can't really indicate the exact person who did it.
And no I did not cut anyone off or take their spot. That is the normal spot I usually park in.
Now I just need new wheels because I got a bit of curb rash on one of them!

Looks like they were hoping to shoot you primary/aux battery and perhaps thought they could start a fire. I envy your right to apply for a concealed carry permit, here in Alberta I have to file papers so I can transport my handgun to the range, and I would be criminally charged for deviating from that route, let alone having it out of my trunk, out of it's case with the magazine in and the trigger lock off. I would also be charged for keeping my pump 12 gauge loaded under my bed. Don't depend on others to ensure your safety, North Americans used to hang horse thieves/horsekillers, same should apply to people who maliciously damage vehicles.

Wow those Canada laws are very strict but I guess that's why the gun violence in WAY less there.
The bullet went straight through the hood and ricocheted off the brake booster and ran into the engine cover and came to rest around the spark plug area. Total damage was $4200 but that is only because 3 doors needed repainting due to scratches from glass.
The engine was perfectly fine though. Insurance also covered everything.
