GMC calls it Onyx Black and if it were a Cadillac it would be called Black Raven! Chevrolet's marketing boys were less imaginative, they call it Black.

Yeah, that's the word I was looking for, Onyx. My 2011 Denali was Onyx Black. My 2012 is Carbon Black Metallic, not as black, more of a dark grey/black with metallic flake.

Yes! You're Carbon Black is a great color, only 8% of Yukons got that color that year. Onyx was the most popular, nearly 30%.
