Last weekend, out I come from my holiday party to go home.
I arrive at the Tahoe where it's parked. There's a slight slope to the driveway and there is some ice I don't see. As I reach out for the door handle, down I go.
Without thinking, I keep hold of the door handle all the way down. That support managed to stay the downward force of my 185 pound body, and I have nary a bruise. Doesn't even feel like it happened.
Unfortunately, my same 185 pounds pulled the door handle assembly apart, and broke the plastic handle cover into pieces. Here it is, bandaged back onto the non-functional door handle.
$500 in case you're wondering. Which includes paint for the new handle cover, which they don't sell pre-painted.
