Local dealer did the recall updates to the wife’s 23 Yukon. I noticed a few intermittent issues.
The XMRadio will display the channel, there isn’t any audio, has “Internet Signal Lost”, “Attempting to reconnect”. It has done this twice, unobstructed view of the sky.
The other issue, intermittent issues with audio. Start the Yukon, no volume from Infotainment, it will show the audio volume bar, increase it all you want, no audio. If you go to any other preselect station, the second the tuner finds the channel, audio comes on, audio stays on when you switch back to the preset that previously had non audio.
Anyone else have this issue? Pardon the fingerprints.

I think you have a slightly worse version of a problem we have had. 2023 Tahoe. Audio system usually works fine but sometimes music or blinker sounds drop for one second at a time every minute or so. Sometimes however we can drive all over town and not notice the issue. Very intermittent. We have had all the updates from the dealer and no solution yet.

For XM you need to make sure the radio is still correct in your account, then send a new signal to the truck. You have to do this via the XM website or possibly the app

Actually, Channel above about 220 are not Satellite channels, those are part of the 360L service and get streaming data via the Cell Data signal. So internet lost may be indicative of a poor cellular data connection in that area.

As for your other issues, this infotainment system is full of bugs. Audio Dropout for about 1s is common, there is even a dealer communication saying GM is working on the problem. It has been there since I first got mine in Feb of 2022.

Thank you for posting this.

I bought a new 2024 Tahoe Premier 4WD in December.

Since new, it will intermittently lose the audio (usually XM Radio) for 1-3 seconds, then return. This is while driving on an open road, with NO obstructions in the sky.

It has been very frustrating and I haven’t returned to the dealer, as I assumed they would be “unable to duplicate”.

I will print this preliminary information and keep it with the vehicle, and speak to a service advisor on my next visit.

That audio cutout is the single most annoying bug left, but I lived through a lot of them. I think I’m on my 6th or 7th update. The worst of the worst was the HVAC fan speed slowing to the “while on the phone” speed 5 seconds or so after engine start and staying there until the user manually adjusted the fan and then hit “Auto” again; or engaged the google assistant or Siri and then the hang up button on the steering wheel. Took GM 8 months to provide a fix for that…the audio cutout is minor by comparison; although it’s been around a looooong time.
