Nice truck. I think i like the caps black. Ties in real good with the look. the black on the wheels contrasts with the white. Cant wait to see what it looks like with the white though. As for the lowering, maybe some better shocks will help with the boat feeling.

What are some shocks that you reccomend if I am going to not keeping the Air Ride? Going to start to paint the caps tomorrow morning .... will post pics of the painted caps on.

did he use the spacer in back? was it the 5305 spring. look at the spring make sure its the 5305 if not it will feel really bad in rear. IN front spindles will ride great you wont need to change the shocks at all.

The hard part of this is that I do not know much about these trucks...The springs are light grey in the back. And no idea about spacer...With the code that came on saying service ride control I assumed I will need to get new shocks, he told me that I would need some soon.....Is there a way to know the shocks are bad? vs something else like the compressor ..

It came on a few days before, but sometimes it would work and I would hear the compressor come one and no code, and then next time I get in the car and I would not hear compressor on and the service ride control light would come up...So I figured once I lowered it I would get new non-air ride shocks.... if that was the problem.

You pretty much cancelled the drop out when u went with a tire so tall. Needs way less tire. 305/40/24 is almost 34"
