Installing Beltech 2/3 kit,many extra bits needed?

Anyway, I have the Beltech 2/3 drop kit and Eibach sway bars to install on our '10 Tahoe PPV. We're planning on doing the install this weekend. I'd like to do this all in one sitting, if possible. Are there any extra parts, bolts, etc., that I should have handy before starting? Thanks.

Besides the DJM sway bar end links, you should be good to go.

We're sticking with the OEM wheels. If we do any wheel mods it would be for some Hybrid wheels, as they are nice and light for their size. But that's not in the plans. Currently keeping it stock looking.

Yes, I got the DJM end links, too. I also plan to do the free range mod, and have the short bump stops for that.

It's good to know we should be good to go. I checked the hubs last week, and they feel good.

Heh, I hear you!! We're both used to driving low-setting cars, and avoid high water at all costs. We've been lucky, so far, this year. We have a diesel GMC if we think water will be an issue, but I'd prefer to just not drive because of all the other stupid stuff that happens during flooding around here.

So does the Beltech 2/3 drop kit come with any directions? I'll admit I did not buy a new kit from Tony (sorry, Tony), but did buy it from a list member who probably did. I got no instructions, and wondered if there were any. Otherwise, I'll climb into the FSM. Thanks.

The front spindles are the same as trucks, so you can just YouTube Silverado spindles

Rear it's easier if you have a little lift. If your going to do it on the ground you need to do one side at a time. Let's see if I can remember this from memory.

Support the rear by using the frame. The the higher the more room you have to let the axle go down so you can remove the springs.

Your going to need to put a jack under the axle as once you disconnect everything it's going to move on you.
Unbolt the bottom of the strut, and don't forget to unclip the bracket for the sensor, if you don't it may break.

Position the Jack right under axle I n the side your working and Jack it so it has some tension on the axle. leave enough space so you can maneuver the spring out.
Unbolt the rear sway bar link.
The axle is now free. Slowly lower the Jack until you can swing the strut over. Install the strut relocater, keep lowering while keeping a eye on the brake lines and wire for the sensor. Once you have enough room, you should be able to pull out the spring.

Install is easier since the spring is shorter than stock. Install the spring with the desired spacer on the bottom of the spring. Jack up he axle until you can reconnect the bottom of the strut and end link. Reconnect the bracket for the sensor and that's it. Repeat from rnthe other side
