Well, I kept getting a P0430 code for the past 3-4 weeks. Finally got around to looking under my truck and noticed that the flange by the cats was all wet. I cannot tell weather it is coolant, oil, or both. Then I checked the plugs on bank 2 and found this:

Am I burning Dexcool or oil? My truck is still running pretty well, but my MPG has gone to **** and I keep getting the P0430 so I'm assuming I am fouling out my precat 02 as well. Is this my intake gasket or no?

you getting any coolant in your oil or oil in your coolant? if no i would assume its intake.. i just ordered the felpro upper gasket kit, headbolts and mani bolts, and started pulling it apart hoping the best expecting the worst.. (180 shipped for everything)i wasnt getting that code though. i know im a completely different situation since i knew the truck wasnt maintained well so i pulled the heads and having a valve job done.. its probably for the best though.. pics on page 4 http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34491&page=4

gaskets i used, might be cheaper than buying the gaskets to do an intake job.. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001C98GAO/ref=pe_175190_21431760_cs_sce_dp_1

No oil in my radiator nor any coolant in my oil. So looks like I may have to do the intake gasket huh? Guess I might as well do the spider injectors while i am at it. Don't think they were ever done. Anyone have any success with the Fel Pro gaskets?

i have had lots of success with other vehicles, thats all i run when it comes to gaskets.. and the spider assembly would be good since your are in there.. it sucks i just did mine 2 months ago and should have done the intake gaskets, but they didnt seem to be leaking, so i put everything back together and then i started getting the leak..

if only doing the intake gasket system use the gasket set below and new mani bolts listed as well. the gasket set has one valve cover gasket included because at least one has to be removed to get the lower mani off. it does not matter which one. It also includes gaskets that service the plenum, TB and others since you will be doing the spider. the spider will have a new bracket so do not buy an extra. and you will have 1-2 spare gaskets when done.
