So, when bought my 04 Hoe LT, the driver's power seat function was a little screwy. When you go to adjust it, pushing it forward moves the seat backwards, and vice versa. Therefore, when I set my preference for easy entry on activating the unlock button, it actually works in reverse and slams the seat to the steering wheel. Obviously being 6'2'' and extremely handsome, this is bad.

Not sure how this happened as I am not the original owner but was hoping that reversing some wires or something, I could get it back to normal. Any thoughts?

Love this quote! lol its goin in my sig!

That is really strange though. I dunno if unhooking your batter for a while would do anything either. Does it look like they messed with the cover on the seat controls at all?

You're missing your flux capacitor.

Easy test - head out on the road and go 88 miles per hour. If nothing short of spectacular happens i.e, time travel, then thats what it is.

This may sound stupid, but just get rid of the driver settings because that sounds like a complicated problem. Then just take the switch out, flip it over and put it back in, that way your seat will go where its supposed to when you push the bottons.. lol :)

Im the second owner of an 03 escalade that doese the same thing. Not only the front to back but also up/down tilt on the front cushion. Thought i was gonna die when the easy exit function began to crush the life outta me. we dont do that anymore.

My '06 Hoe did this too... I set the seat all the way back and programed the setting just like the 1/2 button preferences... Now it doesnt try and kill me lol. I am also a small lad at 6'4" and have been compared to bathrooms made of brick lol.
