My interior lights will turn on/off randomly...driving, parked, doesn't matter.

I keep the Dome OVerride button pushed in and that solves the problem.

But, I'd rather solve this issue :)

Anyone have an idea of where i could trace this problem back to?

When you open either front doors there's a button on both sides where the dash meets the door, its black and sticks out about an inch with the door open. I would start there. Mine use to do it to until I just sprayed contact cleaner in it.

I had the same problem. It even did it overnite and killed my battery a few times. I found it to be the override button. I leave it PUSHED in now and that seemed to have sloved it.

that or its the headlight switch going out. i would try cleaning the door switches first before replacing the switch.

switch can be had from a junk yard for a few bucks. (if you have one close)

Do you have barn doors or the hatch? I have the hatch and it sometimes doesn't close properly, so when I'm driving down the road or overnight it comes up and turns on the lights. I tried using foam rubber strips stacked to push the switch in more but it only works for a little while. Then I have to push in the override switch again. Just a thought.

I have barn doors.

I'm going to try the contact cleaner on those black pins and see if that helps.

Sorry I just dont see that happening with there design unless there was conductive material clogging it up and cleaning it out just flushed out some worn part debris. But whatever floats your boat. Hope it lasts a long time for you.
