HI Guys,
I'm hoping you can help. I did spend the last 2 hours researching and searching the forum but didn't get what I want.
2007 Yukon SLT.
All stock. I'm bored, I'm not even into this SUV, but it serves it's purpose which is to haul around 3 kids and the wife on the weekend, and it helps me out with work. I figured it would be a waste of $$$ to upgrade anything, but know I am thinking of embracing what I have and get a K&N intake and a fun exhaust.
The K&N seems straightforward enough, and can be bought on amazon. Either I or my nonGMC mechanic should be able to get it on fairly easily (after watching youtube vids)
The exhaust is a bit more involved. I want it fun, loud, not too loud, but enough to impress my kids, oldest is 7. Also, all increased HP is welcome.
I was going to pull the trigger on the borla when I saw the discount code you have here for amazon, but it's expired.
My questions are what exhaust should I get? I don't need to spend more than necessary but I want stability, performance, meaning a product with a proven increase in HP. Also, I read the instructions, there will be no welding necessary, right?
What am I looking at for HP increase?
What is the best bang for my buck?
Thanks in advance,
John
