Hi all, nooby here. I have a beautiful 98 Tahoe that I bought to road trip and overland but honestly its too nice to get abused and Arizona pin striped, so I found a 99 yukon to be "that truck" that has the exact same rpo codes and is the same truck except for barn doors, grill, color, and has cloth interior.
The Yukon is sun burnt and has been used as a truck but has full maintenance records and has had extensive maintenance all its life, now at 202k and the engine absolutely purrs. My problem is with the drivetrain, and I'm going to make a separate post about that here in a minute if any of the OG vets on here feel like helping, that would be great.
