Hi guys I m new to the forum I have been reading and researching the last few days and there is a wealth of knowledge here I have learned quite a lot.With that being said I have a a 99OBS yukon all stock with 125 k on it push button 4x4 that im having a few small issues with I was wondering if someone could give me there input or a link in the right direction.

1- I cant get the heat working changed the thermostat and checked the heater core both are fine but all i get is cold air, the ac works great and blows hard.

2- Power door locks click but do not engage

3-Are 245/65/16 the stock tires sise because my truck feels like it steers to easy I had a 91 z71 and it felt much different with 265/75 on it

4- is there a good write up on installing a double DIN head unit and relocating the hvac controls

Any help would be great thanks in advance

1. feel the hose right at the firewall for heat when heat is selected.
2. all locks or just some?
3. for your configuration yes but you can put up to 285/75/16 with out much trouble suspension wise. gearing will be effected.

the back lock work fine but the front seem to be shot when i hit the lock button they kinda move some but don t lock

yes both hoses are hot going in and out of the heater core when i turn my defrost on i get hot air for about 30 seconds then its cool again

replace those lock actuators. for the heat put in full defrost and hot temp mode if it starts hot then goes a/c cold your control head is likely malfunctioning. if it goes luke warm while hoses are still hot your core is likely plugged and can not keep the water flow going fast enough to maintain the heat.

then i guess i need to hit the salvage yard up in the a.m and get a new conytol thats exactly what mine does ill grab some lock actuators while im there thanks for the help
