Is anyone happy with their 2015?

One interesting data point to see would be current owners satisfaction (for any vehicle) divided into two categories:

Those who bought new
Those who bought used

People posting on an automotive forum are typically at least minor car enthusiasts who take care of their shit more than most. So if they bought new, the odds favor their cars being taken better care of then, say, the soccer mom who guns it at every green light, slams the breaks at every stop light, may or may not take it in for required maintenance, or recognize potential issues (sounds or feels) until too much damage is already done...then passes the vehicle on to the next lucky owner.

Lol, hopefully her husband takes it in for regular service...

We have had a 2015 for 10 months and love it. No issues that I have now read on the 2015 threads. We are only at 41k miles but drove it to Oregon from Colorado last summer and pulled a camper down the OR coast. Not a single issue other than the right front strut made some noise a few months back when it was cold. Has not done the same thing since and it has been much colder. I have have also put a leveling kit on it (1.75" lift on the front) and trimmed the air dam for clearance reasons. The could not pull over the parking blocks in parking lots! Love the clearance and look now.

well, i pulled the trigger and have had it for about a week now. we love it so far. I did run a can of BG 44k through the first tank of gas and it is now running pretty smooth. the only issue is when i washed it a couple days ago i noticed light condensation in the tail lights.i called the dealership and they said the tail lights would not be covered under the CPO warranty. i wonder if the tail lights are part of the 172 point inspection? also, i wanted to order cross bars for the roof rack and the dealership said i would have to get new roof rails too. the rails i have now have spots for the cross bars. i might need to check with another dealership....

Factory cross bars will bolt right on to the side bars. Try ebay for a better price.
Factory cross bars are not adjustable and will not accept many attachments. Better to purchase outhouse cross bars like Thule which can be mounted any where on the side rails.

My Thule car top carrier fit my 2004 Yukon, 2008 Tahoe and 2013 Acadia. But on the 2015 Yukon the cross bars could not be adjusted to fit the carrier. Before you purchase the GM cross bars, determine if what you want to mount fits the unadjustable spacing in the 2015 cross bars.

I’m not sure that a 15 year old roof top Carrier is a reasonable yardstick to use.

Every accessory I’ve looked into has a connector for the 15+.

Fair point about the spacing though.
