Is Knock sensor relocation possible?

95 block, I have shorty headers and the way the flange is welded its right on the knocksensor. Is there another location I can bolt this besides the otherside or am I screwed and going to have to modify me headers.

It goes into the water jacket there so you’ll have to be ready with a plug when you pull it out. I believe there’s 2 holes on each side of the block for draining coolant. You can go to any of them and just extend your wire. But honestly, them old knock sensors are garbage and really don’t do much at all. You really have to be out of time for them to react and I don’t think they pull much timing anyhow. You can try to move it, or you can just remove it.

You better have deep pockets for gasoline, if you remove the knock sensor, and just put on badass headers. Lol!
