Is there any possibility that Chevy adds the Adaptive Cruise Control feature in the future to models that don't come with it?

I've got an LT with the technology upgrades, e.g., parking sensors, surround view, etc. yet the adaptive cruise control feature was not an option until you get up into the higher trims which were out of my price range. To me, it seems asinine to not have ACC standard. My wife's 2014 SUV has it yet it's considered some sort of premium feature for Chevy? C'mon. Anyone know if Chevy could/would add this in the future to models that didn't come with it? Given they've got the ability to send OTA updates now in these things (to allow people to get things like Super Cruise) it seems like they could pretty easily add it. My LT has the distance button that determines how close you are to the vehicle ahead of you and also shows an icon when there's one ahead, but no ACC feature.

Lexus LS430 had this feature since at least 2003.

Yup with a msrp of 55k in 2003 adjusted for inflation is 88k.

Craziness.

Better example would be economy cars sold today with adaptive cruise like the corolla.
