It's never an exact science with springs. There are so many variables and everyone posting up their drops use different standards. Hell, even Tony himself compares his drops to others' drops referencing fender lip-to-ground measurements. Wheel and tire packages, air in the tires, long body-versus-short body vehicles, ALC or non, weight in the cargo hold (empty or with the third row installed and/or tool boxes or massive sound systems), people measuring while parked on uneven or sloped driveways, stock springs being worn out yielding a lower starting height, people using different front and rear drops (yes- front drop can affect rear drop and vice versa), variances in the drop spring's manufacturing between batches, etc. Hardly anyone measures before and after suspension changes and when they do, it's often rough estimates or there were other variables introduced during the process. Then, there's the fact that two identically-built trucks might have sat differently ever since they rolled off the assembly line due to simple manufacturing tolerances.

You can use others' experiences and results to get a general idea and might even get the exact same results. It's just not guaranteed.

Apparently, Tony had that 6" spring custom made for the kits he put together and it's not available by itself. IIRC, the DJM 4230 (for the Trailblazer) drops a fullsize SUV about 5". It's softer than stock so if you cut a coil or so to get more drop, you'd also increase the spring rate, putting the load capacity and ride quality closer to stock. I think @Byoung1330 is running these coils. If you have the BT coils that have the first couple of inches compressed and touching, you can cut those off for more drop. They're only acting as spacers so the ride quality won't change.
Yes I did run the 4230 for a while. I ended up getting the 5305 an going with them. An the coils that touch at the top the dead ones. I cut a coil off. An I got about a 6 inch drop. I also have helper bags.

Thanks for the thought our response @iamdub
I would agree, before and after measurements are definitely subjective to case by case circumstances.

To be honest I don't care about the exact amount/ inches of drop I get I just know I want to be lower lol I didn't measure beforehand and hell I haven't measured afterward either. I think feel like I ended up more of like 2.5f/3.5r drop though.

Yessir that looks good!! That's about exactly what I'm looking for. What brand are the 5305s?

The 5305s are Belltech. Also not available by themselves. I don't know why, but I was thinking you already had these. That's why I mentioned cutting the compressed/dead coils off for more drop.

I was going to recommend the trailblazer drop spring and remove the isolators if you’re looking for a 6” drop. People have been having huge issues with purchasing from Tony lately. He’s quick to take your money but doesn’t deliver then will say he’s dealing with family issues ‍♂️

I was not going to suggest Tony. I’d suggest buying straight from Belltech IMO

Yeah man, I texted the number I've seen him list on the internet and he never responded to the message, just left me on read lol so I sourced everythng separately. I run a business as well and I would never leave a potential customer on read, especially when I know they can see that I've viewed the message and just ignored it lol bad business practices

Right on man thanks, I have been leaning towards those springs. I know you have a bunch of audio in the back but is that the springs you have? Your shit is slammered man and I love it!

I got lucky and bought Tony’s 4/6 kit originally when I bought the truck 4 years ago and he has good customer service back then

Actually it took 7 weeks for me to get all my stuff so his CS still sucked back then
