Is this switch stock?

I recently bought a 2005 Denali and stumbled across this hidden switch. Is this factory? ( I attached a pic)

nope, and neither is the LED above it.

Pull the dash and pull the cup holder and see where it goes...

nice! that installer knows wtf is up! very clean!
Hidden, easy to reach and didnt cut into the expensive as **** dash bezel.
I LOVE IT!
LEd might be a dead give away tho depending how bright it is..

Being a 05 it could be a switch for a "ISimple" device.
Or a valet thinga mobber for a alarm system.

Yeah I'll trace it out, thought I would ask first though. I thought maybe it was a kill switch but nothing happens as far as I can tell when I flip it. The light does not come on.

Nice hidden install.

Wonder maybe alarm or maybe remote kill for aftermarket amp for a sub.

theres only one way to find out what it is
back when i was in the car wholesaling business when ever i ran into strange switches like that they were fuel cut off switches but usally hidden much better like under the dash or under carpet
