1. The new infotainment system is buggy as all get out. At random times (happened a few times now) it will get confused and the volume up/down only controls navigation volume. My audio will be completely stuck at whatever volume level it was at and turning it up or down only shows "navigation volume" on screen which of course does nothing since I'm not using navigation. I did discover though that the trick is to turn on the navigation and when it's reading one of the turn-by-turn directions aloud, then try to turn the volume down. It will adjust "audio" while nav is speaking and adjust "navigation" while nav isn't speaking. smh. I usually just turn the radio off until I can stop the vehicle and restart.

Also... Google News app doesn't work at all. I have no idea how it's supposed to work. Not a single person I've spoken with at the dealer or with Chevy support seems to know (do they not train people on new model functionality or something?). It's not that I need Google News app to work... it's just that it should work... I mean, it's there. I want it to work. Anyone have any idea how to show data for the Google News app? I'm signed in with my Google account and have some stories showing on Google News when I browse on the web. So I figure it should show on the infotainment system.

2. I always keep my headlights in "auto" mode. I'm pretty sure the sensor must have an issue because since the day I bought it, my headlights stay on full time. Well... not counting the other day when I was driving early in the morning when it was overcast (you know, one of those days when the lights SHOULD be on) and they weren't on.

I also noticed that the orange indicator light on the headlight knob wasn't on for a day or so but at the same time I noticed when the orange indicator light (signifying it's set to auto) wasn't on, my headlights also weren't on. Is the orange indicator light only illuminated when the headlights are actually on? Or should that orange light be on full time regardless of headlight situation? Feels like the orange indicator should just be on regardless.

3. The rear cargo gate seems faulty but only after the vehicle has sat over night or an extended period. If I go out and load it after it's sat over night, the gate 9/10 times won't open by pressing the button on the lift gate. It will make the noise like it's going to open and it will pop open a quarter inch or so, but never lift. In my testing, the lift gate seems to always work if I'm pressing the button on the key fob or the interior button overhead.

I have called OnStar about some issues with some of the available apps. They have literally no clue how they run or even how to help you answer any questions. The best thing they’re good at is transferring you person to person who has no answers…
I actually called the company that sponsored these apps, and they say these are GM apps and they can’t speak to how they operate within their system. Brilliant!

SMH. This whole process has just been exhausting. It's honestly just making me want to punt and trade the thing in for something else. I drove a 2014 Pathfinder since 2015 and I'm not sure I had a single issue out of it. I've had this Tahoe for 2000 miles and it seems like something new every day.

your best option is to continually take it to the dealer for these issues (while under warranty)
it is your only option for raising issues to GM which will incent them to fix

You're making me feel so much better about buying one 25 years old. It doesn't have any of that stuff. It's got 4 doors (OK, 6) and a steering wheel. What more do you need?

Sounds great. Only thing I need is more cargo area behind the third row which only these newer models have. When we travel on vacation (family of five) without the cargo space behind the third row it basically makes the vehicle useless and we're packed like sardines. The vehicle itself is great and checks off all the boxes we needed in a vehicle, but thus far it seems to have never ended little nagging issues.
