When I get SS brake lines do I order GMT800 or GMT900 lines? Because my plan after getting permanent wheels this weekend is GMT900 brakes for the front, inspecting the rear, getting SS lines and flush all the fluid. I did the same on my wife's Honda CRV. Which by the way I hate that *************.
GMT800. If you end up doing the set of 5 brake lines, IIRC Goodridge is the only one that sells a kit with all 5. Everyone else sells 2 line kits.

We got the truck for 1400 because of an awful tap. Be it lifter or spin main everyone thought it was coming apart any minute. So far I've put almost 32k miles on it in 13 months just tapping away. I have the headers, Fast, 4.11 diff and axles are coming from the Silverado that was Procharged. It's getting a Dart block 388ci motor and a TVS2650. The converter in the Trailblazer is too small at 3600 since the stroked LS3 went in so it will go in the Yukon. The Duramax exhaust was laying around from when I pulled the stock system for a Corsa then bagged it and cut it up. The LS2 obviously came from the Trailblazer after it spun a main thanks to their BS oiling system. So I will either get a new crank and reuse the pistons and rods or get a 402ci stroker kit and drop it in the block.

I bought 24's. Hated them. Sold them.View attachment 224928
I think 22s are a good size for these trucks once lowered. 24s ride like shit, the width of the 305mm wide tires cause them to not ride in the groove of the asphalt and hunt side to side. I had a lowered Silverado on Bonspeed 24s with 275/30/24 tires. They never would hunt in the groves of the lanes but as expensive as the wheels and tires were then I was terrified to drive it.

Look for RPO code JL4. If you have it, you need the kit with 6 lines instead of 5. (2 over the rear axle)

I have Goodridge 6 line kit.

But my Trailblazer has 28x4.5x17 fronts and 345/40/17 on the back and it doesn't wander in the grooves. I don't know if it's how narrow the fronts are or just how narrow the entire truck is compared to a Silverado, Yukon, Tahoe.

I have Goodridge 6 line kit.
So the kit you just listed goes from the hard line on the rear out to each caliper? Then a line to each front caliper? What does the other 2 do?

One at each wheel and two over the rear axle. If you don't have JL4, then there's only one over the axle.

I get what you are saying about the JL4. When I put the SSBC brakes on my wife's Yukon XL they had some aggressive pads. Maybe EBC I am not sure. When she got the CRV we got SS lines, cross drilled rotors, and EBC pads. They didn't even last a year. Either my wife drives like a stark raven lunatic that qualifies everywhere she goes or those pads are extremely aggressive. What's people using once they go GMT900 front, fresh fluid, SS lines, and new rear pads?
