No, I mean a lunati trucker cam, look it up.I think you mean vinci trucker cam..I have one in a 6.0 in my truck..it's a choppy cam based on the videos i've seen..so close to firing it up it's kiling me.. we'll see how much torque it has..vinci has it listed as a torque cam, question is how much can his trans handle. i know I'm gonna have to go 4l80 cause even with a shift kt, cooler and 2800 stall the 4l60 isn't going to hold. torque management is your friend for now.

I did do a google search and it sent me to Vinci lol. everyone I heard reference trucker cam were talking about Vinci's. we have a lotta options which is a good thing.
Brian tooley stage 2 truck cam.
Its got everything you want.
A 2200 rpm converter is a waste. The trail blazer oem converter is 2800.
At a minimum 2800, prefered a tight 3k from PTC.
Never understood when people say a cam is too small. My understanding is the cam is specd based on where you want output. Going to a bigger cam is relative to duration and lift..stock for stock the 5.3 and 6.0 have virtually the same cam specs..It will be on the small side, but will work fine.
How about this. Fecide exactly what you want as far as performance and drivability.
Then call texas speed, PatG or any numerous performance shop and have a cam custom spec'd for your aplication. You will gain mor power and have a better over all cam. Instead of all of these cookie cutter cams that are sold over the counter.
Here is a better idea. Go over to performancetrucks.net and start reading.
Your questions have been asked 30 times todays, just like the "what hid lights should i get", get asked here at TYF.
while there are a few guys here that can really help you. There are thoisands over there that "have been there done that" more than you can imagine.
This is more of a show and shine forum, PT.net is a performance forum. Go to the source.
Nope, your spot on.
What was meant on the "small side". was that there are "larger" cams that will make more power. but like you stated, it moves the power band up the RPM scale.
That and the 6.0 can use a slightly larger cam than the 5.3 due to its extra displacement countering the loss of low end with the "bigger/Larger" cam.
