Jenson single din screen issues

i dont really know where to start with this. I put a transfer case in a long time friend and fellow members Tahoe and in return got a nice jenson fold out screen(can get model #) anyways it worked fine in his. We went to pull it out and the wiring was a birds nest instead of using the wires on the adaptor plug (greens,purples,grays,whites) they individually ran speaker wire from the radio directly to the door speakers. We cut the wires I wired everything back up how you would normally wiring an adapter plug and am now getting nothing to the speakers in my Tahoe. Just curious if anyone has ever ran into an issue like this any input is very much appreciated as I'm ready to get started on my audio stuff. I can get any info or pics upon request if needed

Chances are you have a factory amp, and you don't have the remote turn on wire hooked to it. So no power... you didn't specify whether you have bose or not. Or what year yours is...
